Pathways Community Support Launched
The Pathways Community Support service was launched today by Cllr Claire Matthes at the Fieldway Community Pavilion. Cllr Matthes saw a need for support for those residents hardest hit by the pandemic, and with support from Haslemere Town Council and in partnership with Waverley Borough Council, Pathways Community Support was created.
The services offered form part of the Community Recovery project laid out by Waverley Borough Council and will assist residents to take steps to get back to work, offer guidance and other help and support services. This support is given by organisations and individuals well placed to deliver them.
We would like to thank the following for all their help and support in creating this service.
Waverley Borough Council
Haslemere Town Council
Guildford Job Centre
Care in Haslemere
The Shottermill Great War Memorial Trust
Surrey County Councillor Nikki Barton’s Members’ Allocation
We would also like to thank all members of the community who have donated their time and effort in getting this project completed, a special mention should go to Simon Mackie, without whom this project would not have happened.
We look forward to working with the community in the coming weeks and months.
