Expanding Access, Enhancing Care: Haslemere Town Council funds new clinical rooms at Health Centre

In a significant step towards improving healthcare access and services, The Mayor of Haslemere Cllr Oli Leach today officially opened the three additional clinical rooms, and a new cubicle for the blood pressure self-check machine, at Haslemere Health centre.  The new rooms will enhance the facility’s ability to serve an increasing number of patients and improve the overall efficiency of medical services.

Haslemere Town Council was delighted to be able to support this expansion through neighbourhood CIL funding. During the opening ceremony, Mayor Leach said “This is a wonderful project for the Council to be involved in, helping the community and improving healthcare facilities.  I am fully aware of the efforts involved in completing this project and I would like to thank all involved in making this happen”.

Haslemere Heath Centre has always been dedicated to the well-being of our community, and the addition of these rooms will significantly enhance our capacity to provide care to even more individuals,” said Dr Ridsdill-Smith, a GP at the centre  “We are delighted that Haslemere Town Council was able to award £36,000 of funding to enable us to get this project completed.
